Corvallis Art Guild Clothesline Sale of Art
2018
We're pleased that you are participating in the 57th annual Clothesline Sale of Art.
Ground Rules for the Sale -
On the day of our event, go directly to a check-in table, by the south wall of the Courthouse. Familiarize yourself with the event's layout, locations of the portable toilet/trash receptacles, etc., and your space. Obtain your name tag and sales/commission form. (There is no cashier station. You manage your own transactions, including receipts, and keep track of total sales and your commission amount for CAG.)
You may unload your vehicle while parked in the spaces on Monroe, but please move the car as soon as you have unloaded so that others can do the same. After unloading, park AWAY from the Courthouse so that our patrons can get to the sale easily.
Throughout the day, be sure to wear your name tag.
Participants must stay for the duration of the sale until 5 pm. Please do not leave early.
Only two-dimensional artwork may be sold. This includes originals and photomechanical reproductions and cards. No clothing, refrigerator magnets, or other craft items may be sold.
Only CAG member work can be sold. No work by friends or relatives.
Only hang framed work. Pieces without frames may be sold from a rack or basket.
Our prices must remain the same throughout the sale. For the sake of professionalism, no reduction at the end of the day.
We must not pound any stakes, umbrella shafts, or other anchors into the ground. Use sandbags and weighted stands to secure these items.
Please check the following article for some helpful reminders.
